Devlog Update: Furnished Interiors & Visual Tweaks Coming Soon

It’s been a while since the last update, but I’ve been hard at work bringing new life to Outpost Artemis. I’ve got some exciting updates to share — including furnished interiors and visual improvements that add more depth to the world.

What I’ve Been Working On

After the last update, I took a break from Outpost Artemis to finish and publish my Minecraft mod. Once that was wrapped up, I jumped back into the game, focusing on a graphics update. The main goal here is furnishing building interiors and making small tweaks to enhance the overall look and feel of the environment.

Learning to create detailed interiors in Blender was a challenge, especially as I’m self-taught. I spent time experimenting with new features and techniques, slowly bringing each structure to life. It took a bit longer than I expected, but I’m excited with how things are turning out.

Sneak Peek: New Interiors

I’m aiming to finish this update within the next couple of weeks, so keep an eye out for the release. In the meantime, here’s a sneak peek at the interior of a large habitat:

I’m also working on furnishing the greenhouse, small habitat, and lookout tower. While these designs aren’t final, they already add a lot more atmosphere to the game and feel a lot more alive than the big empty rooms they used to be. I’ll likely revisit and refine the interiors later as I continue to evolve the game’s style.

What’s Next?

The graphics update is almost ready, but I’m always looking for ways to improve the game. If you have any thoughts or suggestions for interior details you’d like to see, feel free to share them — your feedback helps shape Outpost Artemis!

Thanks for your patience and support. I can’t wait to share this update with you all!
